Having coached many teams and my son for years, as well as taking a step back and allowing others to coach my son, I’ve learned a few things. The most important thing I’ve learned is there are right ways and wrong ways to coach children. It may be simplistic but it’s a fact.
Just because a season may only last a few months does not mean that there isn’t time to raise a child’s Baseball IQ.
I have found that when you raise a child’s Baseball IQ that is when things start to change for the child. This goes for life as well. When they are taught, not only how to do something but why you are teaching them something a certain why, that’s when kids start to grasp concepts. They start to get it.
That’s what I’ve been doing for years. Kids are better able to understand when they know why I’m teaching them a certain technique a certain way. Repetition is important as well. It’s like anything in life, you get out of something what you put into it. Sports are no different. Baseball is really about routine. How a person went about fielding a ball long ago is the same way it’s done today.
Baseball should be accessible to everyone. The goal of Operation Grand Slam is to give every child the chance to enjoy the great game of baseball. We offer “high quality” training at a very affordable price. Our mobile training camps are awesome for those who can’t get to a certain area of the county for training. We come to your area!
Baseball should be enjoyed by all children, regardless of income. That’s why we offer partial scholarships for those families who may need assistance. For the price and the level of training, it’s definitely a “win/win”.
If your child has never played baseball/softball before or is a seasoned veteran, Operation Grand Slam can only help raise their Baseball IQ. They can have fun and learn a great deal in the process.
Thanks for taking the time to investigate how Operation Grand Slam can benefit, not only your children, but your family as well.
